MyReport HTMLMyReport offers an HTML interface to allow it’s use through many common web browsers, and report generation in HTML format. Through this mechanism it has become the query engine for our OLAP reporting services. MyReport HTML use supports FORMS based parameter submission through a forms template class which may be associated with any query template. This allows for common use of query templates for both CLI and HTML applications. This approach allows full use of the OLAP reporting engine by those not familiar with SQL – they simply request a pre-validated report, fill in the blanks and receive their answers or projections! And, because specific forms elements and handlers are specified for each query template, the user interface is never cluttered for even the most complex report function. Each report presents only the elements it requires. MyReport HTML ExamplesOne example is worth much explanation, so here is a simple traffic report with bar graph for a selected period…
The next example relates keyword which triggered an ad to the visitor’s actual search term, and includes summary data for referers, users, entry pages, etc.
